22-May-2014 – Inokom has launched a new computerized system in its Mazda Manufacturing facilities with the introduction of Vehicle Tracking System (VTS). The turnkey project which started 4 months ago has been completed a head of time.
En. Amir Azlan Ambiah, Head of Finance Operations, presenting En. Mohd Rizal Jailan, Inokom Managing Director, expressed his appreciation and happiness with the introduction of New Vehicle Tracking System which follows the latest New Mazda Trim & Final Opening Ceremony taken place on 16th May 2014. It is everyone’s hope that this new computerized system shall carry some weights towards Inokom’s Vision Statement in becoming a Preferred Premier Assembly plant.
Inokom Vehicle Tracking System is a computerized system to track the vehicle on real time of vehicle units from Complete-Knocked-Down (CKD) pack at Warehouse until Complete-Built-Up (CBU) status at Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) area. It is clearly very important in better managing of Inventory and increasing Inokom efficiency and eventually improving Inokom profitability.
