On 12th March 2019, the Managing Director of Inokom Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (Inokom); Encik Mohd Rizal Jailan, has officially launched the Road Safety Awareness Campaign in conjunction with the Inokom’s Environmental, Safety & Health Week for year 2019 with the presence of the Kedah State JKJR Director; Miss Chan Pei Hong.
Encik Rizal, in delivering his opening speech, has cited that the campaign is objectively to emphasis and give awareness to all Inokom’s employees, especially the motorcyclists, on the aspects of safety riding and the importance of proper motorcycle maintenance as well as the recommended use of safety vest while riding the motorcycle. He has further emphasized that the way in reducing the number of road accidents is very much dependent on the attitude of the road users themselves.

Prior to that, the Kedah State JKJR Director during her speech has quoted that, currently, the statistic has indicated that a number of road accidents have occurred while travelling to and returning from the workplace.
Upon the official launching of the campaign, the ceremony has been continued with bestowal of the safety vests to the elected Inokom’s Marshals and followed with recital of the “Road Safety Pledge” headed by the Inokom’s Union President.
A lot of activities in supporting this Road Safety Awareness Campaign have been organized including exhibition booths by the government agencies like DOSH, BOMBA and SOCSO, Blood Donation Campaign by the Ministry of Health, motorcycle inspection by JKJR & MODENAS, Road Safety talk by JKJR & SOCSO, Road Safety KAHOOT and Road Safety Words Puzzle games.
